Celebrations are ov– Scratch that, there’s quite a party on the PlayStation Store right now.
Until the 17th arrives, PS players can fire off their “economical gamer” credentials by reeling in Mid-Year Sale deals. Of course, if you do have a PS Plus subscription, there will be an additional price drop on top of what’s already there. Markdowns that give us pause include the following (and note the console differences):
Dishonored: The Complete Collection (PS4) — originally $80, now $40
Final Fantasy VII (PS4) — $16, $9.59
Parasite Eve – PSOne Classic (PS3/PSP/Vita) — $6, $3.59
Resident Evil 2 – PSOne Classic (PS3/PSP/Vita) — $6, $3.59
Spec Ops: The Line (PS3) — $30, $9
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition (PS4) — $50, $25

Comparing to other sales on the Store, this goes on for longer and have way, way more listings! Not an event to be missed, my people. So what will you choose? One is having an inner battle between revisiting Raccoon City before the remake of the revisit comes out (pre-order here) or sand-deluged Dubai (game is overlooked, y’all!).
Also, don’t forget — The PlayStation Hits program, where some of Sony’s acclaimed games like Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience or Bloodborne are available for $20, is now in effect!
Happy (post-Independence Day) gaming.
