Final Fantasy 7 remake might be starting over from scratch, now that the final release of Final Fantasy XV is over and done with, Square is posting job listings indicating at the game’s current state: translation provided by NEWSWEEK seeking a level designer and other “core members” to work on Final Fantasy VII Remake… note by Producer Yoshinori Kitase: “While it is a satisfactory level in terms of reproducing the original with high quality graphics, we have reached the conclusion that we should aim for another level of quality that can meet the expectations of fans.”
Is Xbox giving up on exclusives? This implies crossplay with PCs and maybe competitor’s hardware, evidenced by being a big promoter of console cross-play and shaming Sony for not playing along. “We believe there is going to be 2 billion gamers in the world, and our goal is to reach every one of them… “We’re looking at ways to make that content available to anyone no matter what device they’re on,” statement to The Verge by cloud division is head Kareem Choudhry, a 20-year Microsoft veteran that has worked on Outlook, DirectX, and Xbox engineering.
