Distance, the latest early access game from Refract Studios, has just released an update for the game known as “The Radical Update”. This update to this cyberpunk “car parkour” game introduces a new mode to the game known as Stunt Mode. While Distance was being shown off at this year’s PAX East convention, we got to try out this new mode early. After playing it for about ten minutes we immediately fell in love with how the game played. It had the car performance that one would expect from the best racing game mixed with the tricks and acrobatic stunts that the skateboarding/snowboarding games are loved for. In Stunt Mode and the new Stunt level, the player can jump, flip, spin, and fly their car over large gaps and futuristic looking environments. Did I mention that the car could fly? Distance is available on Steam for Windows, Mac and Linux now with the PS4 version hopefully launching in the near future. Make sure to download “The Radical Update” and try out Stunt Mode too!
The game is available for download on Steam Early Access now, and you can see more from Distance and its developers at refract at survivethedistance.com
