Our heroes have finally rested once again after a long, eventful day of plotting heists, fighting cults and swooning over hunky musicians. This week, they are awaken from their slumber (or in Merit’s case, drunken stupor) by their good friend Alvyn Blacklung to get an idea of their progress and hash out the details of their rewards for pulling off their heist. There won’t be too much money involved, but the party might just end up with unlimited mayonnaise by the time they’re through!
After their discussion, the heroes make their morning commutes and go their separate ways again. Merit and Karnov go off to reconnect with Ziggy Starchild… only to find that the magnificent man is now missing, and his boss – the biggest half-orc maybe ever – is quite cross with the two of them about that. Now they have 24 hours to find out what the hell happened and find their new friend, or Karnov’s horns are going to end up in unfortunate places.
Flint returns to the fight club and encounters his hardest fight yet, against the mighty samurai and former champion, Yoshistune. But no matter that difficulty, there is still one more even mightier foe awaiting him for the top spot.
And finally, Alexandrus pops into Hot Topic, er, I mean, the Cathedral of Mortality – a solemn place devoted to death gods, where he gets leads on the roaming zombie man he encountered and learns that maybe this plot also involves a powerful demon known as “The Two-Headed Lord.” Things sure are getting spooky in The Jungle!
