As our split storylines continue, our heroes all find themselves in greater troubles.
Merit and Karnov go with Ziggy Starchild, their new beautiful Bowie bestie, to go talk to his managers – The Butchers. There they meet the massive and gruff Hoht, a surly half-orc with a massive ruby encrusted belt and a bone to pick with adventurers. Luckily the pair manage to keep their heads and hands… for now. They then go off to the Bazaar to get some matching leather outfits.
Good thing they did! For right as they exit the leather shop, they find Ori being accosted by the Cult of Nakresh for disturbing their ritual sacrifice earlier that morning. But they bring not only warriors to the fight, but also a dreadful man that can turn into a tiger!
Meanwhile, Flint proclaims his desire to be the strongest dwarf in the city, and he has to then prove himself against a dwarf woman who can turn invisible and grow twice her size. Fun!
And meanwhile again (this is why you don’t split the party folks), Alexandrus investigates the house of a missing man, Torin. In the process, he may have stumbled upon a creepy plot, as well the “hanged man” named Felix Thorncutter – a lost soul brought back from the dead that Alexandrus must return.
What ensues after all that is grand, “Duel of the Fates” style, cut-back-and-forth triple battle! You have to see it to believe it, folks!
