Have you ever wondered what it would be like if He-Man decided to live a life in Orange County, California and raise a family in modern-day suburbia? Probably not, but apparently somebody at the Fox network did. Coming this fall, we are getting something quite similar to that in the new Fox series Son of Zorn.
Son of Zorn is a live action/animated comedy hybrid that explores the life of Zorn (Jason Sudeikis), defender of the island Zephyria in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, who finds himself returning once more to his previous suburban life in Orange County, California. Trying to win back the affections of his estranged son Alan (Johnny Pemberton) and his ex-wife Edie (Cheryl Hines), Zorn decides to live a stable life away from his dangerous exploits and rents an apartment close to his estranged family. While he may not be fighting the same monstrous beasts he’s grown accustomed to, he may find his greatest challenge in trying to reconnect with his family while working a boring desk job for an industrial soap sales business.
