Drama Series & Performances
What can we say? We love genre television, and it certainly does not get enough awards recognition as whole. After last year’s surprising win, Game of Thrones is still a favorite, especially after a very eventful new season. Netflix’s Marvel offerings are impeccably entertaining television. Daredevil delivered with its sophomore season, and Jessica Jones wowed us with her debut into the Marvel universe. Orange is the New Black continues to be consistent in quality even in its good and bad moments. While Mr. Robot in its first season was the biggest surprise of the year, becoming one of the most complex and satisfying dramas in years – which is saying something.
