To paraphrase one of the most famous lines in horror, do you like scary TV shows? You’re in luck–MTV’s Scream is now returning a day earlier than announced. The updated premiere date for the show inspired by the 1996 movie of the same name is Monday, May 30th (time still TBD). When we last left our heroes, they were dealing with the first season’s big reveal–Piper Shaw, podcaster extraordinaire, was/is Emma’s half-sister and the serial killer responsible for nine murders. Despite that unfortunate death toll, including Piper herself (supposedly), we will be seeing some familiar faces in the coming season. If the first sinister teaser is any indication, those left behind are having a rough time coping. Check it out here:

In the promo Noah says, “I continue to ask, ‘Is it over?’” Of course it’s not–this sequel season is bound to up the ante, blood- and backstory-wise. Frankly, I’m not even convinced Piper is dead. After all, I always listen to Randy:
Does flashing the masks over the characters’ faces mean that we might be looking at one of the new killers for the season? Everything last season pointed to the fact that Piper wasn’t working alone, which means the other killer is still at large. We’ll have to tune into the premiere on Monday, May 30th to find out for sure.
