The return of MTV’s comedies means a new season of Faking It, though it’s looking like these episodes will be heavier on the angst than the laughter. At the end of last season, Amy took off for the summer, determined to get Karma out of her system once and for all. Our sneak peek at the third season shows us that not everyone is totally thrilled with Amy’s decision–namely Karma, who resents Amy’s abandonment. A sweet summer might lead into a bitter school year for these best friends.
It might be the end of Karma and Amy as we know it–and for the first time Shane is caught in the middle. Karma decides she’s over her friendship with Amy, Liam declares that he’s over Karma, and Lauren is over her living situation. The third season promises to be filled with tears, a whole lot of BFF drama, and even a Shane-Karma duet. All I have to say is: bring it on.
