Five houseguests remain and only two more evictions to go until Finale Night. Only two people will be making their case to the jury, but to get there they will need to outlast their competition and convince them to get their votes.
The remaining players have been ranked based on their game moves, alliances, and potential to win the game:
- Vanessa
Vanessa is a powerhouse that is charging her way to the finals. No one is stopping her and she’s continuing to make manipulative moves. Everyone knows what she is doing but nobody has her as their target. She once was the biggest threat to that needed to go–a lot has changed in the last few weeks. Right now, Big Brother 17 is her game to lose and if she falters at a competition or makes a bad move/lie, she could be the next one to go. However, as of now, she has the best shot to win.
- Steve
Steve won another crucial HOH to add to his Big Brother resume. He’s doing well in the game by creating a powerful alliance and he’s not the same shy player that started this game. He’s a threat and the others are starting to notice. He has a shot to win this game. Steve is pulling competition wins out of his hat whenever he’s needed it.
- Johnny Mac
Johnny Mac shifted to the middle after this week due to a few factors. He’s part of a powerful alliance and he has won several important competitions, like the one to return to the game. He has the support from the jury and could make a decent case to win the game. However, he has no relationships with the other side of the house. Liz and Austin want Johnny Mac to go as he is their biggest threat. If either were to get power, Johnny Mac could be sent out the door really soon.
- Austin
Austin is no longer in the majority. He’s enjoyed comfort and safety the last few weeks but now he has to work for it. Winning the POV helped to secure his place in the game; he was a big target to leave. As compared to his alliance member, he’s built good relationships with the other side of the house and given a few key conversations, Austin could work something out. That is, if he’s still around by then.
- Liz
Liz has tumbled to the bottom. From enjoying the spotlight on the top to holding down the bottom, she’s going to have a tough battle ahead of her. Julia was arguably her best alliance in the game and now that she’s gone, she has to rely on Austin and Vanessa. Her competition wins will help her make a case to win this game, but with three people on the other side of the house actively wanting her out, Liz needs to make a miracle happen.
