10. Queer As Folk, USA, Showtime
Available on Netflix, On Demand, and DVD.
I was but a wee little child when this series hit Showtime, but I discovered its existence not too long ago, and last summer, well, I watched it in its entirety.
In a week.
I don’t recommend that in any form. No matter if you’ve slept your full prescribed eight hours and feel bright as a daisy.
I can recognize the opening sequence with my eyes closed. Go-go dancers never looked the same.
But really, the show has its extreme low moments (TED, I MEAN REALLY), and the ending is unsatisfactory, but it’s bawdy, iconic, and Gale Harold at his finest.

It’s worth the time you’ll spend on the couch eating your ice cream and asking yourself why Brian is just a bag of douche. Just the largest bag.
