Ho Ho Ho! This Christmas, Netflix has a real treat for all of us! Bill Murray and Sofia Coppola are reunited in A Very Murray Christmas, a holiday special that will be an homage to classic variety shows featuring Murray playing himself and Coppola behind the camera. “Christmas is really about Christmas songs so I thought I’d sort of do something like that,” said Murray in recent interviews. “That was sort of Sofia’s idea. And I started thinking about Christmas songs and I thought you can do some different things with it and sort tell a little bit of a story“.
Written by Murray, Coppola and Mitch Glazer, the show will feature a huge list of great guests, including George Clooney, Paul Shaffer, Amy Poehler, Julie White, Dimitri Dimitrov, Michael Cera, Chris Rock, David Johansen, Maya Rudolph, Jason Schwartzman, Jenny Lewis, Phoenix, Frederic Moulin, Rashida Jones, Miley Cyrus, among others stars.
