Jon Espino: She has had a much rougher life than anyone else in the series. Her family was slaughtered, she was forced to leave her home, and she was sold into a marriage by her brother. All of these experiences would have understandably jaded any person, but she still holds on strong to her love, compassion, and conviction. Her cause is a noble one, but with a hint of vengeance. She is also the mother of DRAGONS, and fire does nothing to her. She has postponed her own personal quest just to free the slaved cities she has come across. It all prep work for when she gets to Westeros. She will be unstoppable, and we will be on her side every step of the way.
Melissa Berne: Since the beginning when her brother basically tried to make her a sex slave to get an army, the Khaleesi was not having it. She turned the situation around and decided to not be a slave to Khal Drogo, but a queen at his side, much to her brother’s dismay. She grew stronger and stronger as she stood up to him, even to the point of watching him die without even batting an eye. She made sure the Khal’s bloodriders knew that she was the boss. She continued on and was her people’s strength when her husband died. Dany’s courage and confidence has grown more with each season, and it’s such a treat to see. She is a survivor and strives. She pushes on and is ambitious. I love this girl.
