With its growing list of stars, it looks like Ryan Murphy’s next television project is shaping up to be something to watch out for!
It was announced that Lea Michele (Glee), Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Keke Palmer (Masters of Sex), Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine), and Ariana Grande (Sam & Cat, Victorious) have joined the cast of Fox’s new horror-comedy anthology Scream Queens. Fox announced the newest additions to the cast at its Television Critics Association’s winter press event last Saturday. While Grande will guest star in a recurring role, Michele, Manganiello, and Breslin will be series regulars.
The series will consist of 15 hour-long episodes that will center around a college campus that has been rocked by a series of murders. Much like American Horror Story, each season of Scream Queens will feature a new setting and storyline.
It was previously announced that Jamie Lee Curtis (True Lies) and Emma Roberts (American Horror Story) will star in the comedy as well. So far, the show’s plot has been kept under lock and key. Production is set to begin this spring and the show will premiere in the fall.
