Mile high nerds, rejoice! The reigning queen of geekdom, Felicia Day, will be at the 2013 Denver Comic Con. This will be Denver’s second year hosting its very own Comic Con, and it’s shaping up to be one heck of a convention. People may remember her as Penny in Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog or as Holly Marten from Eureka. Lately she’s been making a splash as super hacker Charlie on the CW’s cult-hit show Supernatural, as well as creating and staring in her own show, The Guild.
Day will be at the convention for the entire Denver Comic Con weekend (May 31st –June 2nd ). Felicia Day will be joining the likes of Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation) and the great George Takai (Star Trek). Stan Lee will also be there as a guest of honor on Sunday. You can hear a special message Mr. Lee left for comic con goers here. There are more actors and comic book legends (like comic book scribe George Perez) that will be appearing at the three day nerd-gasm. There will also be local bands performing at the convention. If you live around or near Denver, I highly suggest that you buy tickets to this convention. Unfortunately VIP passes are now sold out.
If you’re still on the fence about whether you should go or not you can look at the official guest list here or the official press release here.
As the date gets closer I’ll be updating if more guests are added to the lineup. Hopefully, I’ll be seeing you all there soon.
The Denver Comic Con will run May 31st through June 2nd at the Colorado Convention Center. Tickets may be purchased here
