Just when you thought the world was done with rebooting iconic series and movies, CBS is here to tell you that you’re wrong. Everything you thought was wrong. Sort of. During their recent Upfronts, the network debuted their Fall 2018-2019 lineup and yes, you aren’t going crazy. There are some familiar names in there you have definitely heard of before.
Don’t fret. The Big Bang Theory, AKA their #1 show, is still there along with their hit spin-off, Young Sheldon, now taking the 8:30/7:30c spot on Thursday nights. The only show that really left was 2 Broke Girls and that’s a hit we can handle. Below is the current scheduled lineup for next season, along with brief descriptions of the newcomers (courtesy of CBS).

8/7c: God Friended Me*
A podcast-hosting, self-proclaimed “pesky atheist who wants to make you think” (Brandon Micheal Hall) isn’t so sure what to think when he’s friended by God on Facebook and then poked to help strangers for reasons that aren’t immediately clear. Also stars Violett Beane, fan favorite over at TYF, who is known for playing Jesse Quick on The Flash.

MONDAY
8/7c: The Neighborhood*
The nicest guy in the Midwest moves his family into a tough neighborhood in Los Angeles where not everyone appreciates his extreme neighborliness.

Magnum P.I. returns with all-new sun-drenched adventures as our hero takes jobs no one else will with the help of fellow vets T.C. Calvin and Rick Wright and the former MI:6 agent with a familiar last name (but now a female)— Higgins. Based on the 1980s series.
