David Bowie: Five Years 1969-1973 and/or Who Can I Be Now?: 1974-1976
The first two in a series of career spanning sets from Bowie. These two boxes collect every album Bowie released between 1969 and 1976 as part of one of the greatest runs of classic albums in music history. Five Years, released in 2015, may be the more attractive set because it includes the most albums – including Ziggy Stardust and Hunky Dory – but this years’ Who Can I Be Now? is just as essential, and captures Bowie’s mid-70s period that was full of chameleonic changes in musical style and appearance. All of the records are presented in a solid digital remaster and both boxes include rarities, non-album tracks and more. $102 and $117
