On January 20th, I had the chance to go to Bloomingdale’s in Aventura, FL for a chance to meet Giuliana Rancic from E! News and also to find out about this charity that she is partners with called “Dress for Success”.
What is “Dress For Success”? Its a non-profit organization that provides interview suits, confidence boosts, and career development to low-income women in over 75 cities worldwide.
Besides Giuliana, we also met Joi Gordon the CEO of Dress For Success. She shared with us her experiences in changing careers and finding her call in life by volunteering at a Dress For Success office and then become the CEO of the company, helping women around the world feel better about themselves.
At the event sponsored by Tropicana (whom by the way gave out free samples of their delicious Trop 50), we learned a little bit more about Dress For Success’ mission in giving women around the world confidence, that often at times comes as dressing a suit for work and having good self-esteem. We also learned about Giuliana’s career and how she got her job at E! News (my dream job!) and how to always be grateful about what you have and always giving a good a REALLY good impression at job interviews and what to wear for them.

If you have a Dress For Success office around your hometown make sure to go there and volunteer! Or if Giuliana is coming to your town make sure to stop by and meet her! She’s a sweetheart :)
