Taylor Swift’s follow up to her Grammy-winning “Fearless” is finally here. “Speak Now “is classic Taylor Swift, but she’s now a little more grown up. Yet, she’s effectively managing to entertain both her younger and older fans.
Taylor Swift is speaking now before she has to forever hold her peace. In many of the songs, she is addressing her past relationships and dramas that occurred since “Fearless.” In “Back to December,” she talks about her relationship with Taylor Lautner. The entire Kanye West fiasco is addressed in “Innocent;” and she sings about her ill-fated affair with John Mayer in “Dear John.” Is it coincidence that I happened to find these tracks the best on the album?
“Better than Revenge” has more of a rock edge. It’s fun girl-rock song. It also shows that Swift is not a sweet little girl. This song is a bit reminiscent of Paramore. A few of my other favorite tracks include: “Mine,” “Speak Now,” and “Enchanted.”
Having never listened to the entire “Fearless” album, I can’t compare the two. However, I do like this album very much. She’s finally acting more like her age, and I can relate better to her music. But as I said before, girls, from tweens to moms, can sit back and enjoy this album. I can officially say that I’m a Taylor Swift fan.
Favorite song: “Dear John”

I have to admit I love this album. I’ve been jamming to it ever since I got it. Yup, on repeat. And I’m listening to it as I write this lol.
Well, she’s back again with her awesome melodies and catchy lyrics that anyone can learn after 2 times listening to a song.
Even though I love it, I’m getting tired of all the drama behind each song, in both Fearless and Speak Now you can pick out which celebrity she’s talking about. I mean it would be better for T Swift if she wouldn’t say who is the song about, I think she should keep things private, I don’t know that’s my opinion *raises hands* don’t hate lol. But at any rate, the songs are good and the lyrics fit perfect to each situation she’s describing.
My favorite songs: “Back To December”, “Mean”, “Enchanted”and “Sparks Fly”.

I think that the Taylor Swift appeal and why everyone seems to love her is the fact that even though it is considered country, it doesn’t sound like your typical country song, instead it has a pop/rock edge that everyone likes. Oh, and by the way, I can’t wait for another T-Swizzle rap song lol.
Finally, this is a must have. An album everyone is talking about and that you should start jamming to now!
“Speak Now” is in stores now.
