Surprise, Surprise, something that isn’t science fiction! Woohoo! I can’t tell you how glad I am to not be reviewing sci-fi for once. It’s an early Christmas miracle, I’d like to think. So, as much as this pains me, this review’s going to be short because we all know finals are coming and professors are cracking down and college is the root of all evil. Etc. The list goes on. All that jazz. Yes, yes.
Action is all sorts of fun in Marie Antoinette, Serial Killer. We get a lot of backdrop and general background stories and I loved the need to go back and clarify everything. It was great getting to put pieces together and think for myself.
The general plot was really original as odd as it was. It wasn’t off enough that it didn’t make sense and I loved the logic behind all of it.
Romance was there, but not too much of it if that isn’t your style.

In general Marie Antoinette, Serial Killer is a fun, foreign getaway novel that gives you all the history you want without putting you to sleep.
