THE BURIED LIFE BOYS ARE BACK.
And my Monday nights are back too. Now I watch Gossip Girl, World of Jenks and The Buried Life. And je suis tres joyeux. :)
Anyways, last night was the season premiere of The Buried Life. If you do not know what I’m talking about here it is:
A documentary by 4 guys that are on a quest of completing their bucket list of 100 items of things they want to do before they die.
You might be asking yourself “Oh but everyone has a bucket list, what does it make them so special?”, read this –> for every item they cross off on their list, they help a stranger do something on theirs.
Purely inspirational my friends. I’ve seen that this show motivates young people (like the cool people who visit TYF!) to do stuff because we only live once and we only get one chance to do everything we want to do, and tomorrow might be too late.
These guys have had outrageous items on their list like playing basketball with Obama (THEY ACTUALLY DID IT!), sneak into a party at the Playboy Mansion, help deliver a baby, etc.
For Season 2, they’re back, and with even more outrageous items to cross off from their list. From stealing a lock from Robert Pattinson’s hair, marrying a stranger in Vegas, asking out the girl of your dreams and MORE!

Last night’s episode was about “Streak and get away with it” …and LET ME TELL YOU:
My palms were sweaty from the uncertainty of not knowing what was going to happen or if they were going to be able to make it. It got to a point that the commercials were annoying! Seriously!
Anyways, the plan was to go to the Wizards’ soccer stadium in Kansas, some of the guys will pose as security guards and let one of them streak and get away with it.
All the while, they helped a girl build a skate park in memory of her friends that recently passed away. It was really cool to see how many people came together to do something good for the community.
If this show wasn’t as good as I make it look like, I would tell you right now what happened in the episode, and if they made it or not. But no, you have to watch it. You can watch the complete episodes at buriedlife.mtv.com :D
The lesson here Folkies is:
MTV should keep doing shows like these and World of Jenks. I’ve noticed through Twitter, Facebook, etc that people do appreciate good television that is actually teaching you something, that motivate you to go out there and chase your dreams.
