If the creators of This Is Us seem to live for making us cry, we love them for it. Why? Because the tears are always well-earned rather than cheap. Now they’re aiming to do it again, this time with a whole new set of characters and circumstances in the upcoming Amazon Studios film Life Itself.
The teaser promises a touching story of people whose lives intersect over the course of generations and locations ranging from New York to Spain who are all connected by a single event. It also shows us its all-star cast, which includes the likes of Oscar Isaac, Olivia Cooke, Antonio Banderas, and Annette Bening.
Dan Fogelman, who also produces and writes for This Is Us will write and direct. Life Itself opens Sep. 21. Bring tissues. Lots of them.
