We previewed it at PAX just a few weeks ago, and now Earthfall has arrived in Steam Early Access for the world to try. Coming from developer Holospark, Earthfall is a co-operative first person shooter set on an Earth invaded by alien races following a meteor strike. Players will need to take on the role of everyday citizens to help drive away the threats. The gameplay should sound familiar if you’ve ever played a game in the vein of Left 4 Dead. While in early access, you can get a good idea of what to expect, as one of the game’s expected campaigns already completed and included.
While Earthfall is planned for console release, this run on Steam Early Access is intended to gather user feedback to help polish and complete the final product, and is expected to stay in early access for at the most a year. With a majority of the base game stable and functioning, this does appear to be a promising start. As a full product, the main game promises more enemies and story content as well. The game’s price will likely increase after release, so be sure to take a look at our preview coverage from PAX and consider taking a look!
