I have been a fan of Kina Grannis for a long time. I instantly became a fan of hers ever since I heard her amazing covers on YouTube. She has matured as an artist and I love her unique sound. From her own songs to her collaborations with other artists, you can feel the emotion that she puts into each and every song. Also, can we just say how awesome her hair is! She can definitely rock that pixie cut – just saying. But overall, I’m happy to see how successful she has become and cannot wait to see her live in concert in San Francisco!
But for those of you who do not know her, Kina Grannis is a singer/songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Kina has over 900,000 followers on YouTube and her fan base continues to grow. Her hit single, “Message from Your Heart,” from her debut album, Stairwells, aired during Superbowl XLII.
Her second album, Elements, features a more mature sound. It is the album where Kina opens up about what has happened these past few years following her debut album. Elements express love, loss, and her journey both as a person and as an artist. As you listen to her album, you can feel those many emotions she has expressed in her music. As an artist, she continues to push boundaries.
