Leaving the vampire lifestyle behind, it seems Vampire Diaries star Michael Malarkey has sunk his teeth into something new.
His single ‘Scars’ was released earlier this year and it is clear which direction his music is heading. Complete with deep raspy tones and simplistic melodic guitar strumming, he invites fans into a dark and mysterious world.
“Scars” is Malarkey’s first piece of music since he released his EP Knots in 2015. He also had an EP back in 2014 titled Feed the Flames.
Malarkey is currently recording his debut solo album, which is set to be released this summer. The album is available for pre-order on his PledgeMusic page.
