You might remember the other JON MCXRO song that I gave the spotlight to, “Don’t Say Nothin” featuring JoJo [Click here for a refresher!] Another song that I can’t get out of my head from The Fifth of Never album is the track “Somewhere In Italy,” featuring Travis Garland. The song samples from “Parisian Theme” from the Ocean’s Twelve soundtrack. Combining lust and love, “Somewhere In Italy” briefly starts with a magically-inclined harp sound and the gentlemen take us on a journey. JON MCXRO rap about the many exotic women they’ve taken as conquest all around the world while Travis Garland lays down his smooth vocals, sounding like a young Justin Timberlake, singing, “I fell in love in Venice, with a girl from Tuscany/Stole my heart and left it somewhere in Italy.” The way Travis sings, with sincerity and swag in tow, added with the romantic music from “Parisian Theme,” and JON MCXRO’s sometimes scandalous verses, makes “Somewhere In Italy” a banger!
