Nas premiered his video for “The Don” in which we get to see Nas’ street persona as well as Nas living the good life. Furthermore, he recently announced via Twitter the release of his upcoming album “Life Is Good” for July 27th. Anyone excited about it? I know I am, I think that Nas is one of the bestMCs ever, his flow and lyrics make him stand out from other rappers. Along with “The Don“, other singles from the album are “Nasty” and “Daughters”
Nicki Minaj, premiered her video for “Starships” and once you watch it you’ll understand why I have my confused face on. From her album, “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded“, the only thing that could be said is that she isn’t just a rapper anymore, she is definitely on her way to become more exposed in the pop genre. And as confusing as the album as a whole concept was, so was “Starships“, but I’m not going to lie, I do like the song. Let’s go to the beach, beach, let’s go get away.
Boy band, The Wanted, got their fangs on for this one. Consequently with their release of The Wanted EP on iTunes for the US, they released the video for “Chasing The Sun“, and if you were tired of all the vampire frenzy, don’t be! There’s still time for these guys to chase the sun as they are bit by vampires and sing along to “oh oh oh oh oh”.
