On Monday morning, The Fratellis announced their fourth studio album Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied in a YouTube video blasted out to their newsletter subscribers. The Scottish band, comprised of vocalist/guitarist Jon Fratelli (John Lawler), bass guitarist Barry Fratelli (Barry Wallace), and drummer Mince Fratelli (Gordon McRory), revealed that the new record will be available August 21, 2015, less than three months from now.

In addition to the album announcement, the boys released new single, “Me and the Devil,” and a list of tour dates for the summer and fall. Not bad for a Monday! There’s something about “Me and the Devil” that is, for lack of a better adjective, very American. Odd, I know, but it certainly wouldn’t be out of place in a Levi’s commercial in the 90s. I’m just saying.
