After a series of Instagram teasers, pop rock outfit Neon Trees released their new song, “Songs I Can’t Listen To.” The new track blames an ex for all the songs lead singer Tyler Glenn can’t listen to anymore. This is the first new music we’ve heard from Neon Trees since last summer’s Pop Psychology, the band’s third album. It has some of the same bright, vaguely retro feelings, but comes with a bit more of an edge thanks to the heavy guitar. It hints towards some awesome things in the future—hopefully, a new album won’t be too far behind.
