Playlist: Winter Is DEAD To Me

We’re at the point in winter where everything is terrible. EVERYTHING. Temperatures have been so cold that anything hovering around 32 degrees actually feels deliciously warm, events are consistently canceled due to inclement weather, and snow has smothered sidewalks/cars/the desire to go outside for months at this point. Being a fall/winter person, I managed to stay in good spirits about the season for a long time. It wasn’t until I was trudging through the slush this morning from last night’s charming mix of snow, hail, and ice that I realized that I hit the point where one more snow storm is going to make me scream—most unfortunate, considering the Northeast is about to get hit with another damn wintry mix.

Instead of weeping thinking about the “significant ice” heading our way, I’m looking towards spring. Here’s a list of songs that feel like driving around with open windows and hanging outdoors with an iced coffee in hand. Listen below for some sanity:
