The controversial Hip-Hop collective group, Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All or OFWGKTA for short, has a bunch of things in store (literally) for us. First off, they announced their label Odd Future Records, a label through Sony and RED distribution, and with this are set to release their mixtape The OF Tape Vol. 2 which is expected to drop on March 20th. The mixtape will have a collection of songs by Tyler, the Creator, Frank Ocean, Domo Genesis, Hodgy Beats,Mike G, Leftbrain, Syd the Kid and the Internet.
It doesn’t stop there, Odd Future has planned out a 10 city tour in North America to promote The OF Tape Vol. 2 that will kick-off in March. During the tour, they will host screenings of their Adult Swim show The Loiter Squad prior the premiere of the sketch comedy show which airs on March 25th. At each stop of the tour, they will have pop-up retail stores where fans can buy exclusive OFGWKTA merchandise.
2012 will surely be Odd Future’s year, Tyler, the Creator’s album Wolf is expected to drop this spring, Hodgy Beats and Leftbrain’s Mellowhype album by the summer and Frank Ocean’s debut album is expected by the end of the year.
