‘Her‘, the latest film by Spike Jonze will not only captivate you with its story and performances, but also for the music created for it. Canadian band Arcade Fire was behind the score of the film (Win Butler and Owen Pallett being the master minds) and it’s currently an Oscar nominee in the category for Best Original Score.
But that’s not all. The film also received a nomination in Best Original Song Category for Karen O and Jonze’s “The Moon Song“. If you still haven’t seen the film, I advice that you do so. You will absolutely fall in love with it. And if you have seen it, prepare to fall in love with it again thanks to Arcade Fire and the help of Indiewire.
Here is the tracklist provided for the score:
1. Sleepwalker
2. Milk & Honey
3. Loneliness #3 (Night Talking)
4. Divorce Papers
5. Morning Talk/Supersymmetry
6. Some Other Place

8. Loneliness #4 (Other People’s Letters)

10. Photograph
11. Milk & Honey (Alan Watts & 641)

So, sit back…plug those earphones, turn up the volume and enjoy the music. I’m rooting for this score to win on March 2nd, how about you?
