In just a few more weeks, the latest film from Joel and Ethan Coen, ‘Inside Llewyn Davis‘ will be released, but the soundtrack of it is due out next week, November 11th. But you don’t need to wait a whole week, the album is streaming in full all this week as an NPR First Listen. I’ve been listening to it for the past hour and let me tell you, it is AMAZING.
The soundtrack features a lot of folk music and songs performed by Bob Dylan, Marcus Mumford, and some of the stars of the film such as Oscar Isaac, Justin Timberlake and Carey Mulligan. The album was produced by T Bone Burnett and the Coen Brothers. So, leave everything for a little while and enjoy this great soundtrack!
‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ will open on December and it follows the life of folk musician Llewyn Davis who works his way around New York City’s Greenwich Village in the 1960s, before the big folk explosion. You can listen to the entire album HERE, thanks to NPR.
