Ciara has a new song out, and she’s enlisted rapper and sometimes singer Nicki Minaj on the track.

It’s just…ok, right? I mean, the song has a catchy hook, and Ciara’s whining-singing, which I think she does to match Nicki’s natural whine-inflicted voice, fits for the content. She sings, If you know that you better/Than the new girl that he on/Go ‘head and tell him now. So, it’s a typical “I’m newly single” summer anthem, which is always a relevant theme. Hey, there’s always someone going through a break-up, right?
Despite the positive message, “I’m Out,” though catchy, is instantly forgettable.
