Last month, we launched a new fortnightly music podcast called This is Pop?, in which myself and another TYF staffer (or off-site guess) discusses the career of specific artist.
For the second episode, I was joined by TYF music writer Jon Winkler to discuss the discography and career of Gorillaz, the virtual band formed by Blur leader Damon Albarn and Tank Girl artist Jamie Hewlett. This episode was recorded before Jon published his review of their latest album Humanz, and he goes further into detail on his then-in progress article.
Keep in mind that we’re still working out some audio issues, and they should be fixed by next episode!
