It can not be stated enough just how much Warner Bros. are banking on the upcoming Wonder Woman standalone after watching Suicide Squad and Batman v. Superman crash and burn critically in front of them.
As the first standalone film for the character Wonder Woman (freaking ever!) there’s also a lot of pressure from the fans who are expecting the type of exciting and inspiring debut that characters such as Batman, Iron Man and Spider-Man have gotten in the past and, if the trailers are at all indicative of what the overall tone and quality of the film is going to be, we could possibly be getting exactly what we’re hoping for.
However, the Suicide Squad trailers looked pretty fun too.
Starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, Wonder Woman arrives in theaters June 2nd, 2017.
