Logan, the final installment of the Wolverine series finally opened around the world. Fans lucky to see the film on Friday were given a special treat: a special Deadpool 2 teaser trailer! For those of us who didn’t get to see Hugh Jackman back in action yet (yes, myself included), Ryan Reynolds shared the joy on Saturday morning.
The almost 4-minute clip entitled “No Good Deed” is hilarious, filled with sassy and silly jokes only Mr. Reynolds could deliver. Even though the film hasn’t begun shooting yet, it sure leaves the audience squealing for more.
In the teaser, we see Wade Wilson trying to save the day (to the rhythm of John Parr’s “St. Elmo’s Fire“), but having very little success after taking a little too long in changing into his Deadpool costume (while mocking a certain superhero theme), making a phone call and shouting to Stan Lee. If you pay extra attention, you will see that behind the phone booth, there’s a local theater showing Logan. The clip ends with a little chit chat on Logan’s character and why he wouldn’t have a problem changing into a costume.
Huh. I’d never thought about that.
Deadpool 2 will be directed by David Leitch and is set to open on March 2, 2018. Watch the teaser below and let us know what you think in the comments!
