While some of us may dismiss the Superbowl as being little but an opportunity to celebrate by drinking since noon (responsibly of course) and bellying up to wings, potato skins and artichoke dip, it would behoove us to not mention the real highlights.
Specifically, the commercials. Even more specifically, the new and updated trailers that come along with the highly watched sports game (I kid-I’m a New Englander. I know this is a BIG DEAL).
Back to movie news…
The immensely anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 debuted it’s latest trailer and it has, unsurprisingly, stirred up even greater excitement than was previously built up before. With vibrant visuals, new set locations and a further emphasis on the team dynamics, the sequel should follow in the Captain America: Winter Soldier footsteps and succeed in strengthening what made the original so instantly addicting.
Add to that a perfect utilization of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain” and it’s already managed to start out the game night strong. Who else can’t wait for Star Lord, Gamora, Rocket and co., to appear on the big screens once again?
