New Teaser Trailer For “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”

If you’re one of the people who’ve complained that this year’s string of comic-book movies have been somewhat dour and too serious, things are certainly looking up for 2017. Especially if you like tiny tree creatures and raccoons shooting guns in space.

Marvel Studios has released the second teaser trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Once again starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, and the voices of Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel, the trailer is light on plot details but chock full of peaks into the latest antics of the Guardians. Much like the trailer for the previous installment, the new trailer is soundtracked by a mostly-forgotten pop-rock song from 1974 (this time, it’s Sweet’s “Fox on the Run”). The trailer is mostly meant to give fans a taste of the familiar, quippy dialogue, the bickering between the testy teammates, Baby Groot being adorable saying “I am Groot,” and Drax showing his master class of droll comedy.
