I might be in a little shock right now. Why is that? Because I just watched one of the best trailers ever made! The full-length second trailer for the Alien prequel Prometheus just premiered. Just watch the video below and be blown away, people.
I’ve got chills! After all the teasers of this trailer that made their way online the past few days, we finally have the full version of the trailer and it’s simply spectacular. As an Alien fan, I am so happy to see Ridley Scott’s return to the sci-fi genre and making a prequel to one of my all-time favorite sci-fi films. Everything about this movie is awesome, including a cast like Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Idris Elba, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce and more! Here’s the synopsis for those who aren’t too aware about Prometheus or Alien (Word to the wise: Make yourself aware now! lol):
In the distant future, two superpowers control Earth and fight each other for all the solar system’s natural resources. When one side dispatches a team to a distant planet to terraform it for human colonization, the team discovers an indigenous race of bio-mechanoid killers.
Ridley Scott, director of ‘Alien’ and ‘Blade Runner,’ returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
