The 2015 MTV Movie Awards were exciting for one specific reason: the very first clip from the upcoming Paper Towns movie was revealed. The Paper Towns movie, starring starring Nat Wolff and Cara Delevingne, is an adaptation based on the best-selling book by John Green:
Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs back into his life–dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge–he follows.
After their all-nighter ends and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues–and they’re for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees of the girl he thought he knew.
The first clip gives us a glimpse of the trouble that Margo and Q get into during that epic night. Margo and Q break into the house of a “scumbag,” as Margo puts it, to leave him with one less eyebrow. They escape as swiftly as ninjas and we get to see a great moment of friendship take place, all in just a one minute clip:
It’s an introduction to the shenanigans and adventure that we’re going to go on and I, for one, can’t wait for more!
