Get ready to see Sean Penn as you’ve never seen him before! The action-packed thriller The Gunman just released its first trailer showing Penn in his first action role and he is looking great!
The film, directed by Pierre Morel (Taken) and adapted from Jean-Patrick Manchette’s novel The Prone Gunman, tells the story of Jim Terrier, an international hit man who has to fight back against the organization he used to work for in order to clear his name and have a normal life. I know, the plot is not exactly new…we’ve seen it a few time before. Nevertheless, I’m willing to give it a shot.
Also starring Javier Bardem, Idris Elba, Ray Winstone, Jasmine Trinca and Mark Rylance, the trailer shows some great action sequences and a very, very angry Sean Penn. The Gunman is scheduled arrive on March 20, 2015.
