They are back! Those adorable little yellow guys from the Despicable Me franchise are making a comeback in 2015 with their very own film! The first trailer for Minions was released by Universal Pictures on Monday, and I couldn’t be more excited about it.
Looks like the film will come as a little history lesson that will cover some very important questions such as… how did the minions end up meeting Gru? Always serving the wicked-minded and in fear of ceasing to exist, Kevin, Stuart and Bob go in search of the next super-villain the minions can call their master, arriving in New York in the late sixties. How many bad guys will they meet? Seems like the soundtrack of the film will also have some great ’60s tunes.
Produced by Illumination’s Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy, the film is directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda. Featuring the voices of Jon Hamm, Allison Janney, Steve Coogan, Sandra Bullock and Michael Keaton, I think it’s safe to say these yellow guys will have a great return to the big screen.
Minions will be released on July 10, 2015. In the meantime, watch the trailer below and let us know what you think!
Oh! Bello, papaguena! Tu le bella comme le papaya.
