“What if there was a place? A secret place where nothing was impossible? Miraculous place where you can actually change the world?” Those are the very first few lines from the just released Tomorrowland teaser trailer. The film, directed by Brad Bird with a screenplay co-written by Bird and Damon Lindelof, was scheduled for released this December, but Disney decided to push it to next summer.
Starring George Clooney, Britt Robertson, Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn, Keegan-Michael Key, and Thomas Robinson, Tomorrowland tells the story of “former boy-genius Frank (Clooney) and Casey (Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity who embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as Tomorrowland.”
The teaser shows so little, yet so much! Clooney’s mysterious voice and Robertson’s intrigued look with a tiny pin. This film has been kept under a seven lock key for a long time, and looks like Disney is expecting to keep it that way a little longer. Only two minutes and I’m already excited for it.
Tomorrowland opens in theaters on May 22, 2015. You guys want to go?
