Trailer: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1

The wait is finally over! Hunger Games fans, REJOICE! Now that we’ve all come down from our Comic Con-induced high, we finally have our first official look at movie footage from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. In the new teaser trailer, we see our favorite herione, Katniss Everdeen, joining the rebellion. We’re also shown District 13, a little bit of Plutarch, Gale and of course President Coin and Snow. Some sad news for Josh Hutcherson fans though: Peeta is nowhere to be seen in the trailer. I’m sure we’ll get some Peeta love in future trailers and TV spots though, so don’t worry. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the third in a trilogy written by Suzanne Collins that has over 65 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 will be in theaters November 21, 2014. Only 115 days left to go! But we’re not counting or anything.
