Horrible Bosses 2 Teaser has Bateman and that’s all I need

The 2011 sleeper comedy hit of the summer was Horrible Bosses. The film boasts a brutal concept and flips it on its head by changing the tone. Personally, I thought the film was really fun, but in the long run it got what I feared most: a sequel. I’m usually against comedy sequels, and sometimes the outcomes surprise me, especially with 22 Jump Street. Recently, news broke of a sequel being in the works. Now with the teaser out, the trailer does what the name intends.

Here’s the trailer provided to the YouTube by New Line Cinemas:

The Horrible Bosses 2 teaser doesn’t implore anything except for how the voice-over monologue is supposed to be ironically funny. The trailer doesn’t seem to garner many laughs, as it seems to be playing it on the safe side. That is, don’t reveal the humorous moments over the chuckle ones. Also the plot isn’t prevalent here. It’s really just a tease. I’m not personally placing any bets on this, but I’m just going to wait and see how it turns out.

On the other hand it does have hope with the original writers coming back as well as most of the bosses.

“Fed up with answering to higher-ups, Nick (Bateman), Dale (Day) and Kurt (Sudeikis) decide to become their own bosses by launching their own business in “Horrible Bosses 2.”  But a slick investor soon pulls the rug out from under them.  Outplayed and desperate, and with no legal recourse, the three would-be entrepreneurs hatch a misguided plan to kidnap the investor’s adult son and ransom him to regain control of their company. “

Horrible Bosses 2 was directed by Sean Anders and produced by Brett Ratner, Jay Stern, Chris Bender, John Rickard and John Morris. It hits theaters November 26th.
