Alfred Molina and John Lithgow. Those are two names I haven’t heard in a while. Good thing we can see them both in the upcoming film Love Is Strange soon! The film, directed by Ira Sachs, debuted at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and it got some really excellent reviews, mentioning the amazing chemistry between Molina and Lithgow. Our own Dan Schindel did a review of the film a few days ago, and if you just can’t wait for the film to come out, read his thoughts HERE!
Love Is Strange tells the story of Ben (Molina), a Catholic school teacher who is fired after he marries his long-time partner George (Lighgow) in New York. Having some money issues, the couple is forced to live separately with family and friends. The film, also starring Marisa Tomei, looks in an unconventional way how love and friendship is tested with each character.
Love Is Strange will hit theaters August 22. Watch the trailer below and let us know what you think!
