This is the time of the year that studios look to make the most money so that they can later release all those wonderful award-nominated movies that give them so much credit. However, that doesn’t mean summer movies lack in entertainment quality. On the contrary. Summer movies are meant to provide you with tons of visual stimulation. The summer movie season is meant to get butts in the seats with all sorts of bombastic offerings. This year, we’ve already been spoiled. We’ve been handed a couple of big movies that would’ve fit quite well in the summer schedule (“Winter Soldier”, anyone?!) It makes sense, though. the summer months get so packed to the brim with movies, that other movies need to be placed elsewhere in order to compete.
