Honestly, Richard Linklater, Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy should be getting more love for their masterful work with the Before movies. On the slim chance that they win, I will shed tears.

Looking at the ages of most Academy members, their hey-day was in the 1970s, not the 20s. Since nostalgia is the new thing, American Hustle looks like it will take the prize for costumes.
