Will Win: Matthew McCounaghey

Should Win: Leonardo DiCaprio

The McCoinassance is a force to be reckoned with, and I’m not even mad if Matthew McCounaghey wins because his acting in Dallas Buyers Club was just THAT good. Its just that I feel this was Leo’s best work to date and to see him do such a comedic role was refreshing and come on, the guy deserves an Academy Award. You already know the internet will crash if Leo wins, maybe the Academy doesn’t want to be blamed for that!

Will Win: Cate Blanchett

Should Win: Sandra Bullock

Will Win: Jared leto

Should Win: Barkhad Abdi

There’s no denying that Leto has this award in the bag. His performance was absolutely brilliant, to the point that I even forgot Leto was even in the movie, I just saw Rayon. However, it would be a really nice surprise to see Barkhad Abdi take the Oscar home.

Will Win: Lupita Nyong’o

I was so mesmerized by Lupita’s performance in 12 Years A Slave that in this category there is just no other actress that compares. If Jennifer Lawrence wins, which she might, I will never be okay with this decision, but it’s not her fault that Hollywood loves her so yeah :/

Cuaron winning Best Director means HURRAH LATINO DIRECTORS! McQueen winning Best Director means HURRAH BLACK DIRECTORS! And they were both great to be honest. Cuaron had the long shots which I LOVE and McQueen crafted by far the best and most important movie of the year. If David O. Russell wins…………I won’t be okay.
